Anyway...I do have some new art, mostly just practice and doodles but nothing is too bad to be shown here!! Ok, there is one that was too horrible to scan even, and I can use the excuse that I don't think I'm finished with it. No wait, there's 2 of those. :P
In roughly chronicological order without looking at the books.
This is the one I was talking about in the last entry. All the little doodles were drawn from a little coloring book I bought from the Disney Store (it's even got crayons on the back of it...it's really neat :P) I started it in pencil and then went over it in ink and then colored it in with pencil crayons.I like it :D It was just for practice, just something easy and straightforward...to test my sea legs, so to speak. I'm not so impressed with the face on Snow White, it doesn't really look like the Disney Snow White and I used to be able to do a pretty darn close version of anything Disney. Most of the rest of the doodles are pretty bang on, maybe it's just faces that I am struggling with right now, which kinda irks me cause that's what I always drew, and to struggle with it now is frustrating. *sigh* Ahh well, at least I can do a reasonably good job with color unlike I used to...you win some, you loose some I guess.
Jareth, taken from the "Labyrinth" Soundtrack Album Cover. Erm...practice. Ugh. Dispraportionately large nose. Face is kinda off kilter and crooked. Eyes are ok but the likeness is not there. Ah well.

Based on album art from "The Open Door" by Evanescence..yes, Amy Lee again. Doesn't look like her and the arm is way too short and the hand is mangled. Face is...I dunno, the nose is hideous. Not right. I like the dress though...Hair is ok. Bleh. LOL
Ottawa Senators Logo. It came out ok. A decent replica of it, though its out of shape and not totally accurate in all spots, it was fun and I drew it for my hubby. It's kinda slanted. LOL Ah well, he likes it so that's all that matters really, isn't it?
I have (as I mentioned above) 2 unfinished (hoplessly) sketches, both based on Amy Lee that I don't know if I even want to finish. I have started a large picture for Racheal for her room when we move, of Cinderella. Gotten a couple "wow"'s on it so that is encouraging :D Got heck from Rachel for not having finished the whole thing in one sitting. And a request of Cinderella with all her animal friends...a companion piece I guess you could say :P And the boys of course have their ideas for what they want me to draw for them so I'll be busy for a while. They will have to be photgraphed instead of scanned as the paper is 13"x17" or something like that :P From my sister...I don't think I'll have to look for a sketchbook for about the next 5 years, I have 5 of them floating around the house now...as well as about a dozen and a half pencils LOL And some charcol, which I've never worked with but hey, what have i got to loose??
